This article really an interesting excerpt by the best known author, Eckhart Tolle where it tells the reader how thinking plays an important role in constructing or generating our mind as a human being. In this context, it tells that mind and thinking are two different parts although they are related between one and another. But the only thing is, they are differing in terms of its role and function. Through thinking also, it can invent the illusion of separateness where one keeps away from the reality and tries to believe the capability of thinking completely. In addition he said that, thinking has become a disease where actually we do not use our mind wholly and we let ourselves work for the mind and at last the mind will conquer us simultaneously. I really object this stance, where in opinion, actually the mind is like a splendid instrument if we used it rightly, if we used wrongly it becomes very destructive and unhelpful. We still need our mind to get and accomplish things.

In the article itself, it categorizes the part of happiness that one can receive based on its ability and proficiency in doing any kind of works. Happiness can be gained by everybody in this world, but it relies on the individual itself in defining the level of happiness. The enjoyment and unchallengeable working environment can make us feel more relax and calm as we less facing with insuperable obstacles (under pressure) of working’s atmosphere. Nevertheless, I agree with this author, as he stated that, men of science and literate man have different level of happiness because it is based on the outcome of their work and not because of the responsibility that they carry in delegating their tasks. In addition, we know the fact of being an artist, is very destructive and he faces many negative feedback or rumors that can jeopardize their dignity as a human being as compared to the man of science whose work is more likely gives his contribution to the nationwide. Last but not least, everyone needs the glorious of life that so called “Happiness” where not everyone is able to reach for the maximum of happiness in their daily life.

When I’m reading this article, it really shows how the politics issue plays in today’s world in terms of the leaders in ruling our country. It involves many things such as bribery, corruption and also craftiness. All these things have become a norm where every politician uses in order to grab for their main power. In this context, people are becoming more selfish and self-seeking as to get what they want. However, society today is becoming unwise in choosing their right leader. No men and women can reflect their honesty and humble in handling their responsibilities to their neither society nor country. Therefore, we have no more quality and the real leader to hold and bring our country to the most uphill achievements. Moreover, in this article tells that, people with the innocent faces are actually the big liars of human being. They show their trusted face so that, the people surround them will trust them completely.
